FOLDYARD gallery runs black & white film-based workshops in our own darkrooms.
I. How film and cameras work via a local walk to understand film speed, f-stops and shutter speeds.
2. How to develop a roll of film and control the outcome
3. Making black and white prints in the darkroom
Everything you need will be provided - including a camera. It is a day workshop starting at 10am and finishing about 4pm with a break for lunch. We provide a vegetarian lunch.
The cost is £90 per person.
Dave trained as a Photographer in the early eighties. Privately with Fay Godwin, then at Derby University with John Blakemore and Ray Moore as his visiting lecturer. Karen Knorr, and the current head of Photography at the Royal College of Art - Olivier Richon, spent time at Derby and shared their cutting-edge ideas on photography.
