Dave trained as a Photographer in the early eighties. Privately with Fay Godwin, then at Derby University with John Blakemore and with Ray Moore as his visiting lecturer. Karen Knorr, and the current head of Photography at the Royal College of Art - Olivier Richon, spent time at Derby and shared their cutting-edge ideas on photography.
